Unfortunately, the courts can only affect discrimination, not bigotry.The big question is whether the federal appeals court will overturn this ruling in favor of saying marriage is decided by the states. I wait to see the outcome and hope the appeals court will uphold the ruling. After that, I believe the Supreme Court would hear the case. I would hope that they agree that equal protection at the federal level trumps a state's right to determine marriage. If justice is their aim, they will have to see it that way.
